Marshfield Area Purple Angels is a non-profit organization raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. We support people with dementia and their families through educational and community-based projects and programs, all offered free of charge!
On the first Thursday of the month, Marshfield Area Purple Angels hosts a memory cafe, a social event where people with dementia - and those who care about them - come together in a safe and engaging environment.
The Purple Angel P.A.L.S. program provides personalized attention, love and support to an individual with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia. Trained purple angel volunteers provide meaningful, personalized support that values the uniqueness of each person, looking past the disease of dementia and appreciating where each person is on their individual journey.
Marshfield Area Purple Angels offers free caregiving classes, workshops, and support groups for family caregivers. We also provide education programs for the community.
“Sing Along with Margaret” is a special project that brings meaningful music to people with Alzheimer’s disease and advanced dementia. This project is unique because this music is not only for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, it is sung by a special lady who had the disease, and she continues to share her joy with others.
